Privacy Policy — Easy budget
This Privacy Policy explains how the Easy budget app handles personal data and device information.
1. What the app does
Easy budget is a personal expense and income diary. Financial data (expenses, income, categories, recurring payments, settings) stays on your device, except for the optional features described below.
We do not run our own server that receives or reads your spending data.
2. Data we process
2.1 Financial data and settings (on device)
- Expenses, income, notes, dates, categories, recurring payments
- Preferences (theme, currency, reminders)
Purpose: to make the app work.
Legal basis: providing the service you request.
Retention: as long as the app is installed, or until you use “Clear all data”.
2.2 Google Drive backup (Premium only, if you turn it on)
If you enable backup, the app uses your Google account and saves a copy of your data in the app’s hidden folder on Google Drive (drive.appdata).
- Backup files stay in your Google account
- They do not pass through our server
- You can turn backup off; existing backups remain on Drive until you delete them in Google

2.3 Local file export / import
You can save or restore a JSON file on your device (or share it). Anyone who receives that file can read its contents.
2.4 Advertising (free version)
In the free version we show banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may process advertising IDs, device data, and usage data to show ads (including personalized ads where allowed).

In the Premium version (one-time purchase), banners are not shown.
2.5 In-app purchases
Purchases (e.g. Premium premium_unlock) are handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details; Google processes them.

2.6 Notifications
If you enable the daily reminder, the app uses local device notifications. We do not send notifications from our own server.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data.
Data may be shared only with:
- Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Google Sign-In / Drive), within the services you use
- Anyone you choose if you export or share a backup file
4. Your rights (EU / EEA)
Where applicable, you may:
- access and obtain a copy of your data
- rectify it
- erase it
- restrict or object to processing
- withdraw consent where relevant (e.g. disable backup, uninstall the app, change ad settings)
In-app deletion: More → Clear all data (deletes local data; Drive backups are not deleted automatically).

5. Children
This app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
6. Security
Local data stays on your device. Drive backup relies on the security of your Google account. No system is 100% secure.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The date above shows the latest revision. The URL listed on Google Play will point to the current version.
